Prothermal is a concentrate for the maintanance of the water quality in thermostats and waterbaths.

PROTHERMAL acts:

• Waterbaths and thermostats
• Heatable cuvette-holders
• All temperable watercooling systems

USING INSTRUCTION:
Clean the waterbath and add 2-3 ml PROTHERMAL per 1 liter demineralized water. This quantity is standard in temperatures of 0-50° C. In higher temperatures the quantity may be split into half.
PROTHERMAL normally keeps the water clean for 2 months. The blue color shows the effectiveness of the substance during this time.
In closed cooling sytems the water and PROTHERMAL must be renewed after 3-4 months.

Stability, Storage and Handling
The product is stable up to 3 years, if stored at room temperature in sealed and undamaged containers. Containers made from Derakane, PE or HDPE can be used. Glass lined vessels are also suitable.
To maintain colour and to avoid decomposition, the product should not be stored at high temperatures. Storage below melting temperature will cause separation or solidification of the product. In such cases the entire amount should be heated until melts and homogenized before use.
For cleaning up spoilages collect as much as possible in a clean container for reuse or disposal, absorb the remainder in vermiculite. Obtain the consent of the pollution control, before discharging to the wastwater treatment plants.

Health and Safety
The product should be handled with care. In order to avoid injuries, protective clothing, gloves and safety goggles should be used. Avoid contact with skin and inhalation of vapors.
